Tourister 2025: Georgia’s Tourism Summit Shapes the Future of the Industry

The Georgia Tourism Summit, "Tourister 2025," once again served as the premier hub where all key stakeholders of the Georgian tourism industry — the private sector, academia, technology experts, media, and public agencies — came together. This year’s summit clearly demonstrated that "Tourister" is no longer just an event; it has evolved into a strategic platform where visions are formed, collaborations are forged, and the dialogue on the future of tourism in Georgia begins.

The primary objective of the summit was to build a unique ecosystem where different sectors of the industry could engage in effective communication. The two-day program was remarkably intensive, featuring:

  • 33 speakers from Georgia and abroad;
  • 7 practical workshops;
  • Over 300 attendees;
  • Nearly 200 business meetings conducted via the new networking platform.

“Our main goal was to explore marketing and sales in tourism, with a specific focus on how technological solutions and Artificial Intelligence (AI) empower these fields. Additionally, we addressed key hospitality issues such as strengthening direct bookings, the development of sustainable tourism services, and the management of tourism destinations across regions,” says summit organizer Mamuka Berdzenishvili.

The insights and connections gained during the summit are already being translated into concrete projects, campaigns, and partnerships within the Georgian tourism industry.

Major Announcement: Due to increasing demand both locally and across the Caucasus region, "Tourister 2026" will be hosted in Tbilisi. The dates and venue will be announced soon.
